Which age groups do you serve?
Do i have to live in orange county to play for gorillas?
No, Gorillas Lacrosse is an open club program, available to players throughout Greater Orlando. This includes players that live and attend private or public schools in Western Orange County, Lake County, and the surrounding areas in Florida. where will practices be held?
Practices will be held at Scott Pine fields in the central location of Windermere, Florida.
Will Participating in Gorillas conflict with my High School Spring season?
No, Gorillas Lacrosse operates in the Summer and Fall seasons only, allowing athletes to fully participate with their high school teams in the Spring.
Do players need previous experience?
No, experience is not required. Players with no prior experience with the game of lacrosse will still find value being a Gorilla. Our new players will have experiences focused on building fundamentals with a goal to build up to participating and contributing in game situations. New Gorillas should bring an eager attitude and willingness to learn.
How can I enroll my player?
Enrollment is handled online via our website. Once registered, you’ll receive all necessary details about practices, game schedules, and communication through TeamSnap One.
What equipment is required for players?
Players must bring their own lacrosse stick, helmet, gloves, protective gear, mouthguard and water to each practice. Gorillas Lacrosse helmets are available at an additional cost. If your player needs equipment, a limited amount of equipment is available to borrow. Please reach out to info@gorillaslacrosse.com
